Booking a Trip to Scotland....
There have been some inquires lately as to how we planned our trip. The short answer is that we went through a golf vacation agency known as Adventures In Golf. Give Carl Johnson a call and mention you heard about them through my blog. Maybe if enough of you book your trip through them they'll give us a discount on the next trip! (hint hint) AIG was great and top notch. We had a great trip, great experience with them, and would recommend them to all of our golfing friends.

The long answer is that after not making it into the St Andrews Old Course lottery for two years in a row, we decided to book the guaranteed time through AIG.
After we booked everything through AIG, the Royal and Ancient let us know that we got off the waiting list for a time two weeks after our trip. I almost considered staying the extra two weeks to play again, it was so great!
